Operation Zeus' Lightning



Situation:

The CSAT Armed Forces have taken control of the island of Altis, an important strategic hub in the heart of the Mediterranean. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Altis have been unable to withstand the power of CSAT and now they have come to the NATO Council to ask for help. Our leaders have approved a military campaign that began two days ago when a group of special forces destroyed the CSAT supply lines. You are here today for the second mission of the Altis Liberation Campaign, which will involve the destruction of CSAT support and logistics vehicles and offensive equipments.


Briefing

We will deploy from the salt lake in Altis where we were able to establish a FOB. Your task will be to head to the airport of Molos, north-east of the island. Here the enemy force has built up a large logistic and support base that sends troops and equipments to all neighbor detachments, including the ones in the capital, Pyrgos. Once you get there you'll have to destroy or neutralize vehicles and enemy structures. Satellite images show several troop movements into and out of the airport but it is not easy to get intelligence because the CSAT are using an advanced anti-satellite system that shields them almost completely. Once you are able to infiltrate and destroy as many equipments as you can you have to head back to the base and report on the number of targets destroyed.
But, yes there is a but, you have to be careful when approaching the base. We identified several checkpoints in the major cities of the island and intersections, so it will be not so easy to get close to the airport. We also got intel that an Altis extremist group supports CSAT troops by means of terrorist attacks and ambushes. Expect, therefore, improvised checkpoints and possible IEDs and keep your eyes open. A further warning: off-road areas are covered with mines. This was the tragic discovery of one of our recognition groups, so do not make the same mistake twice.

Notes:

- It is sufficient to damage the targets and neutralize them, you don't need to destroy them completely;
- Each Player can customize his equipment at the crates in the game, depending on which slot you have selected you will have a different available equipment;
- The Spectator mode is turned off by pressing the ESC key. To overcome this the spectator script is restarted every 2 minutes.
