Background

Thailand, Jan-Feb 2007

The insurrectionary anti-monarchist Thai movements recently transformed into guerrilla. These movements are powered by a paramilitary group called "The Claws". In February, 2007 the U.S. sent the III Marine Expeditionary Force, stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

Northern Thailand, near the northern border, LZ Fiona - April 1, 2007

An UH- 60L of the Thai Navy has been shoot down a few minutes after takeoff. We think it was a Stinger Missile. Of the 3 crew members on board, only 2 bodies were found at the crash site ... A Thai rescue team identified some footprints heading north, but it was engaged by Claw guerrillas and forced to retreat. The command decided to send a small team of the USMC Reconnaissance Force with the aim to regain radio contact with the pilot and take him safely across the border.

Tasks

Red task
- Locate and neutralize the survivor of the downed UH - 60L (CS MONKEY )

technical Notes
- To accomplish te task the target MUST be dead ( spectator mode )

Blue task
- Resume contact with MONKEY and escort him over the border

technical Notes
- MONKEY's spawn point is random
- Any of the 3 borders (Laos , Burma, Tribal Areas) is ok
- MONKEY must be escorted , he cannot cross the border alone, the task will be completed when MONKEY cross the border with at least an ally at no more than 50m distance.

Other rules:

- The Red side has two members (Hounds) who are able to follow the pilot's footprints, so they can see the approximate location of the pilot, although imprecisely, on map. The two Hounds slots must be taken in order to see the marker.

- Teleport: the Reds will spawn at Nui Do Tia. They can teleport ONCE at any of the villages (wheel action at the truck in the start position). Limitations: who carries the Stinger cannot teleport in the 3 villages around the FOB Fiona (Bac Hoang, Vang Vung, Tay Vinh).

- The MIA pilot will be spotted (marker on map) when he enter the villages.

- Infiltration: the Blue side can choose the infiltration points (parameters) at start.





- Helicopter: the helicopter cannot land out of the borders.

- Revive: medics can revive twice (3 lives total including the first one), but they have a time limit to do so (8 minutes). Only medics can use morphine and ephinephrine. MONKEY is a medic.
