Adversarial MilSim Contest, Challenge Opening



Hello All

We (BDR Clan) are a realism Unit dedicated to the Arma series (Arma2 and 3). We use ACE and ACRE mods for our custom missions, and for this reason we mainly stick on Arma2:CO atm. We are opening an Arma2:CO Adversarial MilSim Contest based on custom missions created by our mission makers (mainly BDR Flipper).
Adversarial, because they are PvP missions. MilSim, because the missions reflect and simulate as far as possible real operations.

If you are interested in the challenge simply post here your interest, and we will arrange. The contest could be in the form of standalone missions or tournament-style, depending on the number of groups involved.

OPERATION ZENOBIA



Background
An important load of weapons from Syria, destined to feed the war in Takistan forced the Western border of the country.
The attack at the border was claimed by a Syrian guerrilla group calling themselves "Palmyra's Sons". Their goal is currently unknown, we assume they traffic in weapons stolen to the Syrian regular army, in exchange for oil and rough diamonds.

Our Intelligence has located the arms shipment en route to the capital, Zargabad, transported by two civilians trucks, within a few hours they will reach their destination.

The Task Force Aureliano is sent in the area to locate and neutralize the loads before they are exchanged with local insurgents and with the disbanded former Takistan regular army. If they fail, this would cause an increase in the intensity of the guerrilla and a strong delay in the stabilization of the whole area.

OPERATION EXCALIBUR



Features:
peculiar, asymmetrical and unconventional PvP, Mil-Sim (Military Simulation). The mission reflects and simulates real SpecOps operations. The Blufor side plays as a S.A.S. squad (SABRE), while the Red faction play as Chedaki soldiers and militians. Both sides must role-play! Aim of the Blufor is to collect as much information as they can, their task is not to engage and kill the enemies but to accomplish their objectives. The Redfor task is counter-interdiction, their duty is to control their territory, prevent enemy infiltration, guard their strategical areas, prevent the SAS to accomplish their mission, find and destroy the Blufor squad. For these reasons the Blufor side has no respawn (revive only and limited lives), while the Redfor do have respawn (in the Redfor base). Redfor have also allied AI with patrolling and spotting purposes.
